State bank of india has announced officially that they are going to recruit 1837 Bank PO for the year 2014. SBI will recruit this PO for their 10000 branches all over the india. Every graduate who wants to work with SBI can apply for this job on or before 28th April, 2014. So, here is some important aspects of the SBI PO 2014 that you need to know.

1. SBI PO 2014 have total of 1837 vacancy, out of which 758 post is for General category, 405 seats are given to OBC (non-creamy layer) category students, 439 post for ST and 235 for SC category students.
2. There are 60 posts for Physical handicapped candidates, 29 post for VH, 31 for OH.
3. Any Graduate in any discipline from recognized institute or university can apply for SBI PO 2014. Even Final year student can also apply for SBI PO.
4. If you were birth not earlier than 02.04.1984 and not later than 01.04.1993 (both days inclusive), then you are fit in age limit criteria too. (age relaxation as per govt rules).
5. The selection will have two test, two phase. 1st phase will have 200 marks of objective test and 50 marks of descriptive test, while 2nd phase will have 50 marks of GD PI.
6. Candidates have to pass both of the phase to clear and get job in SBI PO with respected section wise cut off.
7. SBI PO exam will held on June 2014.
8. SBI PO will get 16,900 of basic pay salary and after 4 increments they will eligible for 8.4 lac package (70 thousand per month).
9. SC/ST/PWD candidates has to Pay Rs.100 and OBC/General Category candidate has to pay Rs.500 as application fees.
10. Candidate can pay their application fees online (via debit, credit cards) and offline (on SBI Branch).
11. Before that, they need to register themselves at SBI.co.in.
12. Call letters for exam will sent via email and sms only.
13. Use of Mobile Phones, Pagers, Calculator Or Any Such Devices are not allowed in the exam hall.
14. Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee / intimation charges paid for the other registrations will stand forfeited. Multiple attendance/ appearance by a candidate in examination and / interview will be summarily rejected/ candidature cancelled.
15. Exam center are available in all 33 states of india (including territory parts).
