If you are going to apply for SBI PO 2014 exam then you will need to upload your signature and photograph image on the online registration. So, here is some tips to upload your photograph that you can use it while uploading the photograph for SBI PO registration.
Guide for Uploading Photograph for SBI PO 2014 Registration
For Photograph
You need to upload scanning image of your passport size photograph. As per the official guidance, you need to upload 200*230 pixel size of passport size photograph which should be size of 20 kb – 50 kb.
To get such micro size photograph, you can simply go to your nearest cyber café who have scanner facility available. Ask your cyber café guy that you need such size and pixel image to be uploaded, he/she will do it for you.
If you are doing with your own then you can use Microsoft picture manager to get minimum size of photograph or you can even use MS paint to resize your photograph. If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious head wear is allowed but it must not cover your face. If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows.
For Signature image
You need to upload scanned image of your signature while registering online for the SBI PO 2014. The size is specified is between 10kb – 20kb and 140 x 60 pixels (preferred). You can again contact your cyber café guy who will help you to get such micro size image.
You have to sign on blank paper with blank ink pen and then scan it. If the Applicant's signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Attendance Sheet, the applicant will be disqualified.
Both images (photograph and signature) should be of JPG or JPEG format. You can again use MS paint or MS office (PowerPoint) to change the picture format. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using 'Save As' option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50 KB (photograph) & 20 KB (signature) by using crop and then re-size option.
Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature
(i) There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature.
(ii) Click on the respective link “Upload Photograph / Signature”.
(iii) Browse & Select the location where the Scanned Photo / Signature file has been saved.
(iv) Select the file by clicking on it.
(v) Click the 'Upload' button.
